Turn merged PRs into release notes in seconds

A good changelog answers one question for your users and your team: what actually changed? The hard part is rarely writing it - it's the tedious grouping of dozens of merged pull requests into Features, Fixes, and Chores. This tool parses each line for a conventional-commit prefix and buckets it automatically, so a raw git log becomes clean Markdown.

Changelogs are also a signal. Shipping cadence, the ratio of fixes to features, and how quickly changes reach production are all measurable. If you want to move from anecdotes to numbers, pair clean release notes with release analytics and DORA metrics tracking to see the trend behind each version.

Frequently asked questions

Each line is parsed for a conventional-commit prefix (feat:, fix:, chore:, etc.). Recognised types map to Features, Fixes, or Chores. Lines without a known prefix fall into Other. Everything runs locally in your browser.
